Inspection Scheduled

So we are done with everything we can do with the top floor right now. We handed in paperwork to get an inspection done so that we could get the last pull from our loan to give to our contractor. I really hope that we pass and can get the money so that we can move on to the basement. We have an appointment for Monday.


I am so excited!!!

So we replaced all the windows in the house. We haven't framed them in yet....I think that is the word that I am looking for :) I really hope that the inspector doesn't require that to be done or we are in trouble. We don't have money for that right now. Plus it wasn't in the original paperwork. I really hope that isn't something that we have to get done....I am crossing my fingers!!!
We haven't panted the base boards throughout the house either. It is a lot harder to paint a whole house versus just a room at a time. I tell you when we are done with painting this house.....I am not painting again for a really long time!!! I wish that we had money to pay someone to do the downstairs because I have no interest in doing it at all.....I know that Jake feels the same way. Oh well we will plug through and look forward to when the house is completely done and we can enjoy the whole house....without any work!!!

I know that owning a house will always need some sort of work done but here is to hoping :)

Bad News

Jake and E's Birthday...a little break from house pics.

So we had a party for Jake and E on the same day because there birthdays are so close together. It was a great turn out with great friends, family and food!!!
E was perfect with his little cake. He first put in his hands and then just dove face first into the cake and kept going back for more. It was hilarious!!!
