Random

Don't really have a lot to update on. Jake went up to the house today on his own and filled in the sprinkler ditches and just did a few odds and ends around the house. He took some pictures of what he was doing with the sprinklers as well as some of the yard and the shed. I will post them just so that you can all see. But they are just random.

The last one there is of our new air conditioner unit. We had a swamp before but it had problems so instead of trying to fix it we just decided to add central air and the heating needed to be worked on as well. They replaced the unit yesterday. The new one is nice because it is so much smaller. It is just too bad that because of the position of it we now have a space in between the wall and unit that we can't really do anything with except lose a little space. When Jake goes tomorrow I will make sure that he takes pictures so that you guys know what I am talking about with the heating system. 
I think that we are supposed to be getting a bid for drywall as well as a bid for all new windows by tomorrow. The contractor also said that the electrician would be there either tonight or tomorrow. OUr contractor was originally going to do it but because he had to do something with the new heating system he just decided to bring someone in. So we might have pictures of some electrical work tomorrow but I am not sure what I will have for you tomorrow. It just might be more random pictures. There is no shortage of pictures that we have taken but I just don't want to overwhelm everyone with all the pictures that we take.
We wanted to put the kitchen in this weekend but it looks like the drywall guy won't be done for a week so that puts us back a little bit. I hope that the window guy will have his work done in that amount of time as well so that when the drywall guy is done we can get the guy in there to paint or paint ourselves and then put the kitchen floor down and get the kitchen together. I can't wait for it to all come together!!! I just want in my house already. We have to be out of the apartment by the 9th at the latest. I know that the whole house won't be done but I want a lot of it done so that we don't feel so scattered when we move in. Maybe things will move really fast here in the next week or two. I mean don't get me wrong a lot of work has been done already but I just kind of feel like it might be at a little of a stand still. 
While Jake was up at the house today he watered the lawn for the first time. Now we just need to getting it green and healthy so that we can enjoy the yard!!! We also planted a tomato plant in one of those things that hang upside down and tomorrow I think that Jake is going to do one for the strawberry plant that we bought. We will see if we can get any fruit from either plant. We have to start small to see if we can grow things :)
